PRESS RELEASE FROM IJL LONDON "The Designers behind Truth Unveil OSO The OSO brand idea was created in the winter of 2010. After following London and NY fashion weeks, we took the decision to develop a range of jewellery that inspired the customer whilst being as versatile as clothing, having the ability to follow trends more closely in terms of colour and materials. The name One Season Only indicates a clear message to both the retailer and the consumer, letting them know that fresh ideas will be available per season, Spring/Summer, Autumn/winter. Retailer feedback suggested that independent jewelers prefer to offer individual design led products that are still commercial but not available from the multiple chains on the high street. The OSO brand has been developed with our independent and multiple retailers in mind. The OSO collection will feature twelve stories at the official launch at International Jewellery London. Each story will have a consistent theme running through it and will offer products from £15 to £500 RRP. The higher end and limited edition pieces are designed to inspire independent jewellers, offering them individual looking products that their consumer will feel enthusiastic about buying. Moreover, elements from these higher end and limited edition pieces will inspire a new exciting, commercial collection that will be available on the high street. Introducing the products at different levels to both the independent and high street jewellers will allow the brand to develop a reputation for both quality and style at all levels of consumer buy in. OSO has sought to move away from traditional Sterling Silver designs, introducing new materials and methods of manufacture. The collection was developed with versatility in mind, offering Sterling Silver coupled with crystal and coloured cords. The colours used vary per story, for example, a softer more feminine story may offer pastel colours whereas the more edgy product has been develop in bolder, richer colours. There are 12 stories within the OSO collection: Chirp The chirp collection focuses on the silhouette of the swallow, adding glitz and glamour to the body and wings with crystal detailing. Infinity The infinity collection was designed to be a softer, feminine version of the Buddhas endless knot. Passion An exciting collection based around love and lust. The collection features perfectly shaped crystal encrusted hearts in a choice of sizes and colours. Lace The OSO lace heart collection represents happiness. The lace pattern is used around the edges of a solid heart, creating a softness of the heart. Cosmos The Cosmos collection was designed with scatterings of bright, sparkling single stone crystals. Tropical A collection of open butterflies, delicate and pretty with colour. Nectar A round pendant style product domed and adorned with open cut flowers. Friendship bracelets A collection offering three different styles of friendship bracelets, all created with Sterling silver fasteners, coloured cord and crystals. Bond – The larger of the friendship bracelets, created in the woven friendship style but with glittering crystals on the outer edges, adding sparkle to the best friendships Rock – A finer friendship bracelet made with larger crystals. Luna – A delicate crystal, silver ball and cord bracelet. Belle A collection of beautiful open flowers, some layered on top of one another, others crystal encrusted or laced with delicate coloured cord. Skalli A slightly edgier collection depicting skulls, highly polished, crystal encrusted and bound with darkened cords Empress An awe inspiring collection of briolette crystals fashioned together in an organic style, creating a glittery sensation. Glacier A collection of organic shapes, some open, some solid adorned with crystals to create an alluring cavernous effect."
